Rasha and Morcos the instructors for the Cisco Network Academy in Cairo, Egypt.
Cairo Cisco Network Academy students and grads who I met while speaking to them and the channel partners.
Sam Pit who I dearly miss, met me in Cairo and made sure I was given a tour of the pyramids. Her and her great friends showed me a great time on that beautiful day.
CCIEs are easy to spot some times as you can see by this vanity plate on a car I found in a parking lot. This one belongs to one of the contributors to the CCIE Flyer. As the plate says 3X CCIE driving here!
Eight CCIE certifications represented in the faces of good friends of mine in Philladelphia. Diane is one of the first 5 women CCIEs.
Terry Slatery met me for lunch one day and we had a great chat about the world of CCIEs, changes in the precess of becoming one since he got his, and his contributions to the CCIE Flyer which I enjoy publishing every month.
Dan my big brother and Deb his wife in Atlantic City, NJ.
When I had this photo shoot on Wall Street, I had no idea the economy would take a nose dive. It has become my CCIE Agent icon.
My first trip to a CCIE lab was in Belgium. Many folks have traveled through these doors to realize their dream of becoming a CCIE. So many have walk through them more than once with determined effort to become a CCIE. Some have tried many times and given up.
Don't ever give up on a dream!
Toronto trip back in 2008. I helped three of the gents in this picture find jobs in the USA and I am still working on the fourth. Two are CCIEs and the other two are future CCIEs.
In February 2009 I visited with Narbik's CCIE class in DUbai. These guys came from all around the world to attend. Three actually passed the following week and are newly minted CCIEs.
Dubai again in February 2009. Lunch was my first meeting with these CCIEs form the area and in my network. Narbik and I met for the first time in person at this lunch. We had spoken about allining our efforts and this was the historic beginning.
Karam and his family. You have heard of my efforts to help Karam get out of the refugee camp in Lebanon. After all his efforts it turns out that the UNHRC after being shown the stories I wrote in the CCIE Flyer and IT World turned the trick. he is in Southern California now and looking forward to a whole new life.
Ethan Banks a good friend and member of my network.
IPExpert allowed me to visit with them and their students. MAtt Brooks on the left is a fan of the CCIE Flyer and Vik standing to my right is a regular contributor and a well known CCIE Voice trainer.
Toronto CCIE Mixer I through at Dave and Busters. These are the students attending Faisal Khan's Voice Boot Camp that week.
Faisal Khan the brain behind Voice Bootcamp pictured with me in 2008 during my visit there.
Dubai in February 2008 was not all work. These CCIEs made sure I had a great evening and here we are pictures after 10 others had left for the evening. Great guys and I am honored to have them in my network.
Whay was Ramy dressed like a pimp? I asked him that when we first met before I knew his name. Pictured here with my friend Scott Morris and me at the Internetwork Expert CCE party in Orlando the first night of Networkers 2008.
Joe Walter is personally responsible for several CCIEs passing the lab back when it was 2 days long and only offered in San Jose. Yes a bunch of CCIEs who have numbers under 4,000 were grateful for his help. He remains a good friend.
My favorite 12 string making me sound better than I can really play...
Orlando CCIE Party thrown at Networkers in 2008. Orlando was a blast and my first Networkers was a real hoot. Cisco really knows how to make a guy feel speacial. I think I was the only non-CCIE allowed in to the NASCAR Grille that night.
Me and the sign at Networkers 2008
In the 80s I thanked Bill Gates for my IT career blooming into a real promising future. Then it was John Chambers and a bunch of gear that always seems to end up looking just like this.
